1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to all training services, online training, and training materials provided by Lighthouse & Beacons (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking training or purchasing materials, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Provided
We provide mental health training and educational resources, including but not limited to:

Training manuals covering stress and burnout, understanding depression, and anxiety awareness
Services may be delivered in person, online, or in a blended format.

3. Bookings and Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment must be received prior to the delivery of training or access to training materials.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations or requests to reschedule must be made in writing. Any applicable cancellation fees or notice periods will be communicated at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule training due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, an alternative date or a refund will be offered.

5. Online Training
For online training, participants are responsible for ensuring they have suitable internet access, equipment, and a private environment where appropriate. We are not responsible for disruption caused by technical issues outside of our control.
Access to online training materials may be time-limited and must not be shared with others unless explicitly agreed.

6. Training Manuals and Materials
All training manuals, resources, and materials remain the intellectual property of Lighthouse & Beacons. Materials are provided for the purchaser’s use only and must not be copied, reproduced, shared, or distributed without prior written permission.

7. Use of Information
All training and materials are provided for educational purposes only. They do not constitute medical, psychological, or clinical advice and should not be treated as such. Participants are responsible for seeking appropriate professional support when needed.

8. Confidentiality
We respect confidentiality during all training sessions. Participants are expected to respect the confidentiality of others and not disclose personal or sensitive information shared during training.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lighthouse & Beacons shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in training or use of training materials. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

10. Accessibility and Inclusion
We are committed to providing inclusive and accessible training. Any reasonable adjustments or support requirements should be communicated in advance where possible.

11. Data Protection and GDPR
Lighthouse & Beacons complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
We will only collect and process personal data necessary for the delivery of our services, including bookings, communication, certification, and legal requirements. Personal data will be stored securely and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or with your consent.

12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of booking or purchase will apply.

13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Terms & Conditions - the basics
Having said that, Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) are a set of legally binding terms defined by you, as the owner of this website. The T&C set forth the legal boundaries governing the activities of the website visitors, or your customers, while they visit or engage with this website. The T&C are meant to establish the legal relationship between the site visitors and you as the website owner.
T&C should be defined according to the specific needs and nature of each website. For example, a website offering products to customers in e-commerce transactions requires T&C that are different from the T&C of a website only providing information (like a blog, a landing page, and so on).
